PLEASE NOTE

Penguin Group, a major book and e-book publisher, has made several changes to its e-books policy.

• Penguin joined several other large publishers in decidiing to no longer offer e-books for library lending.
  
  
• Kindle and Kindle App Users:
  E-books that the Library already owns will still be available for Kindles, but not for other devices using the Kindle app.
  
  Penguin Group now requires their e-books to be downloaded to a computer and then transferred to your Kindle over USB. This means that these e-books will no longer be available for over-the-air delivery to Kindle devices. See Amazon's help page on transferring over USB. >>
  
  
• If you check out a Penquin e-book using a Kindle app and are unable to access it, there is currently only one work-around to return the book (without waiting through the entire checkout period). If you know someone who will let you use their Kindle, you may try this method. >>
  (The work-around requires the Kindle to be deregistered. To do this, go to the home screen, go to Menu, then Settings. Deregister should be the first option.)
